Sexual Assault Awareness Month serves as an opportunity to raise awareness, empower

survivors, and educate the public. By challenging harmful norms and promoting empathy, consent, and respect, we can work towards preventing future incidents.

Empowerment and Resources

One of the primary objectives of Sexual Assault Awareness Month is to empower survivors. It provides a safe space for them to share their stories and reclaim their voices. By amplifying survivor experiences, we help break down the barriers of shame and silence that often prevent survivors from seeking help or justice. Additionally, by providing access to resources such as helplines, counseling services, and support groups, we ensure that survivors have the support they need to heal and rebuild their lives.

Education and Awareness

Educating the public about consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships is integral in

preventing sexual assault. During this month, various campaigns, workshops, and events take place to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to intervene, support survivors, and create a culture of consent. By promoting education and awareness, we aim to change societal attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate sexual violence.
