Elizabeth Campbell
Hypertension Nurse Care Coordinator
Elizabeth (Liz) has served in the role of Hypertension Nurse Care Coordinator since October 2021. She
earned her BS in Nursing at Duke University and an MS in Nursing at Drexel University. Elizabeth has
lived in many places, and just recently settled in Boone after her husband’s Air Force career. After 6
years of hospital nursing, she likes to be able to focus on care coordination—helping patients navigate
their chronic diseases, treatment plans, and the complex health care system. She performs this role
throughout HCCH, and is also implementing a remote patient monitoring program and aiming for HCCH
to get national recognition for excellent Blood Pressure care. Elizabeth enjoys traveling and being
active, watching the seasons come and go, and reading and building Legos with her kids.
