About the Role
HCCH Maintenance Worker Job Duties Include:
Ensure strict adherence to all relevant federal and local guidelines for safety and productivity including, OSHA, ADA and other required regulations.
Install technical mechanical equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations in a timely manner for an optimal production timeline that avoids lengthy periods without loss of business.
Complete periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule throughout the life of the devices.
Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
Clean windows and glass doors
Change of all filters for HVAC as required
Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
Make ready all patient rooms, and office space as needed
On call maintenance for all facilities
Maintain exterior property, including snow removal Assist with all show installs/removals
Oversee or perform daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and counters, cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance. cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (hand rails, water fountains)
Mow the lawns, prune the bushes and trees, edge the walkways and give the grounds a manicured look.
Operate snow removal equipment during the winter to keep all of the walkways and building entrances cleared and safe.
Take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary by the property.
Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and the building are always properly cared for.
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.
Performs other work related duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
